HOW IT WORKS

If you’re trying something new, I know it can be a bit daunting the first time. That’s why I make

sure I guide you throughout the entire process, so that you feel comfortable and well-informed.

At FAB I use a Beyond II state-of-the-art advanced whitening accelerator machine. Proven to whiten teeth better than old technology (and without the sensitivity or enamel damage that older machines can cause), this uses 10 high-intensity LED lights and ultrasonic technology to provide superior whitening.

All you need to do is sit back and relax while I apply the whitening gel to your teeth, before applying the accelerator light. It’s applied over 3 cycles of 15-20 minutes each, leaving you with a stunning smile in 75 minutes.

I Have Crowns Or Veneers - Can I Still Get My Teeth Whitened?

The short answer? It depends. Artificial caps, crowns and veneers will whiten differently from your natural teeth. Whitening can remove stains to get them back to the original colour they were when they were installed; they don’t always colour as much as natural teeth, however veneers and caps can still stain. Depending on the current colour of your caps, crowns or veneers compared to your natural teeth, whitening can either make them appear mismatched, or can help create a more even colour. If you’re unsure, please send me a photo with details before booking in, and I’ll be happy to consult with you on what can be done and how to get the best results. If you are getting any cosmetic restorative work done on your teeth, whitening can be done a few weeks beforehand.

What Else Do I Need To Know Before Getting My Teeth Whitened?

If you have a lot of tartar buildup, I recommend getting a professional clean from your dentist or hygienist first. You need to wait 14 days after this is done before you come in to get your teeth whitened. I only do whitening for those with healthy teeth and gums, with no periodontal disease or gingivitis.

Unfortunately, I’m unable to perform my teeth whitening service on those who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
